I've actually been following various fandoms for almost four years. I don't produce anything (my fiction writing skills suck). If you've been included in my recent friending frenzy, I'm going away to grad school soon at grad school now (and damn it’s busy and a lot more work then almost anything else I’ve ever done and also really fun) with a shiny new computer and it seemed like it would be a good time to have my links archived online. I don’t have an online social life (or in real life because I mostly don’t like people or have time but), I typically just use my journal as a reading list, so if I show up on your “friends of” list you’ve said something that I want to hear more of.
Because some people do use the f-list like a social club (not that there’s anything wrong with that mind), I don’t get offended if you don’t friend me back (I probably won’t notice anyway).
I do try to comment on everything I like. It doesn't actually happen that often because I haven't yet managed to create a comment that took less then ten minutes to make. Then half the time I don't end up publishing them anyway. Hopefully now that I've got to get back into the habit of writing to communicate (for school, yeah!) I'll be better.
Life doesn't come with warning labels. Neither does this journal. If you find its content offensive, well, surf on my friend, and please remember that I don’t care if something you found through here broke your little brain.
